Felix hopes to medal in as many as four events in the Beijing Olympic Games. In addition to the 200 meters — the distance at which she won a silver medal in the 2004 Athens Olympics — Felix plans to run the 100 and the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.
If she wins — and don’t bet against her — the 22-year-old will cement her status as the latest American track idol. Felix knows this, and yet it still seems surreal.
